Welcome to CoverBizz.com ("CoverBizz", "Platform", "Website", "we", "us", "our"). The Platform is owned and operated by Catcon Insurance Brokers Private Limited ("Catcon", "the Company"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, and licensed by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India ("IRDAI") as a Direct Broker (Life and General) under Licence No. 1008.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Catcon. They govern your access to and use of the Platform and the insurance broking and related services offered through it. By browsing the Platform, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quote, or using any of our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

CoverBizz is a business insurance platform. We help MSMEs, growing businesses and large corporates compare options across our insurer partners and place cover that fits their operations, including liability, property and assets, employee security, personal protection, engineering and speciality risks.

Through the Platform and our team, we may:

If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, firm or other entity, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" includes that entity.

The Services are intended for users in India. We make no representation that the Platform or any product is available or appropriate for use outside India.

Some features, such as viewing and managing your policies, may require you to log in through the customer portal linked from the Platform. If you hold login credentials:

Insurance is a contract of utmost good faith. You must disclose all facts that are material to the risk truthfully and completely when you request a quote, fill in a proposal form or renew a Policy. This includes details such as the nature of your business, sums insured, claims history, and any prior refusal or cancellation of cover.

Premiums, benefits, features and discounts (if any) are as per the respective Insurer's product and the applicable "File & Use" approvals. Tax benefits, if applicable, are subject to changes in tax laws.

Premium for a Policy is payable to the Insurer, in the manner permitted by the Insurer and by applicable law. Where payment is made online, it is processed by third-party payment gateways and banks that are governed by their own terms. Please make sure that any payment instruction or cheque is drawn in favour of the Insurer, unless we have expressly told you otherwise in writing and as permitted by IRDAI regulations.

Cover under a Policy begins only on the terms of the Policy and after the Insurer has received the premium and accepted the risk. A payment made through or to us does not by itself mean that cover is in force. We are not liable for failed, delayed or reversed transactions caused by banks, payment gateways or other third parties.

Refunds, cancellations and free-look rights, where available, are governed by the Insurer's policy terms and IRDAI regulations.

Our claims desk will help you intimate, document and follow up your claim with the Insurer or TPA. Claims are assessed and settled solely by the Insurer in accordance with the Policy. We cannot guarantee that a claim will be admitted, or its amount or timing.

To protect your claim, please inform the Insurer and us as soon as possible after a loss, within the period stated in your Policy, and cooperate with surveyors, investigators and documentation requests.

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and honestly. You must not:

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, page layouts, software, the CoverBizz name and the Explore content (such as checklists, quick reads and snapshots), is owned by or licensed to Catcon and protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. Insurer names and logos, and client logos, belong to their respective owners and appear for identification only.

You may view and print content from the Platform for your personal or internal business use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

The Platform may link to Insurer websites, the customer login portal, payment gateways, social media pages and other third-party sites. These are provided for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to its own terms.

By submitting your contact details on the Platform, you consent to being contacted by Catcon Insurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. and its Partners by call, SMS, email and WhatsApp for insurance-related communication, notwithstanding your registration on the NDNC Registry. You may opt out at any time by writing to support@coverbizz.com or by using the unsubscribe option in our emails.

Opting out of promotional messages does not stop service or transactional communications that we need to send to administer your Policy or claim.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect, how we use and share it, and your rights under applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By using the Platform you agree to the practices described there.

The Platform and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that:

Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your rights as a policyholder under the Insurance Act, 1938, IRDAI regulations and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catcon, its directors, officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or the Services.

We are not liable for any act, omission, decision or default of an Insurer, TPA, surveyor, bank, payment gateway or other third party, including any decision to decline, reduce or delay a claim. Where we are found liable for a proven loss caused by our own negligence, our total liability will be limited to the amount permitted by applicable law and IRDAI regulations.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Catcon and its directors, officers, employees and affiliates from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, your provision of false or misleading information, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

We may suspend or restrict your access to the Platform, without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, supplied false information, or used the Platform in a way that may cause harm or violate the law. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

Termination does not affect any Policy already issued, any claim already made, or any rights and obligations that have already arisen. Sections that by their nature should continue (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology, or legal and regulatory requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Platform after an update means that you accept the revised Terms, so please review this page periodically.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer protection or insurance law, the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform.

We encourage you to first raise any concern with us under Section 22 so that we can try to resolve it informally. Disputes with an Insurer about a Policy or claim are subject to the Insurer's grievance process, the Insurance Ombudsman, and other remedies available under law.

We will acknowledge and address your grievance within the timelines prescribed under applicable law. If you remain unsatisfied, you may approach IRDAI or the Insurance Ombudsman, as applicable.
